Utah Foundry & Machine Shop

Aluminum castings and aluminum-zinc alloy castings are our specialty.

Our foundry incorporates three different casting processes:

We also provide additional services such as:

  • Machining
  • Heat Treat
  • Assembly
  • Radiography
  • Prototype management
  • Anodizing
  • Plating
  • Impregnating
  • Painting
  • Non-destructive testing.

Aluminum Heat Treatment

Our aluminum and non-ferrous castings are made from certified alloy for  guaranteed purity and dependability. Most of our aluminum castings are thermally treated to T6 condition using our large in-house heat treat ovens. T6 tempering provides improved strength for engineered components and increased hardness for machining.

CNC  Machining

In addition to high quality aluminum castings, Lynrus operates a modern machine shop using state-of-the-art CNC equipment. CAD/CAM software is used for design, programming and tool making work.

Our computerized operation gives us exceptional mass production capability, while maintaining close tolerance on both short and long runs. We produce a variety of cast wheels with machined tolerances of +/-.0005 on a regular basis. We also utilize various manual machines for prototype work, fixtures, and die work.
